INTRODUCTION
The SSI Assistant Instructor rating is the first step on the path to becoming a fully qualified SSI instructor. At Camel, you will work alongside our experienced SSI Instructor Trainer, developing your teaching skills through practical assessments and hands-on experience with real students. As an Assistant Instructor, you will be able to teach academic and pool sessions for entry-level programmes, assist instructors during open water training dives and qualify as a Specialty Instructor for selected SSI programmes. A solid foundation for anyone serious about a career in diving.

Prerequisites & Referral
- SSI Divemaster or equivalent.
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Own a full set of diving equipment.
- 60 logged dives totaling 40 hours or longer in the water.
- CPR, First Aid (React Right).
- O2 Provider training.
- Full Dive Medical examination certificate.
