INTRODUCTION
The Red Sea is home to some of the most diverse and colourful marine life in the world, and the SSI Fish Identification specialty gives you the knowledge to recognise what you are looking at. You will learn to identify common families of reef fish found in the Caribbean, Indo-Pacific and Red Sea, understanding their characteristics, behaviour and role in the ecosystem. The course is completed entirely online via MySSI, with no diving required, making it ideal for a rest day or for non-diving friends and family. A certification that adds a whole new layer of enjoyment to every dive.
