Curious about diving? You’re in the right place
If you’re curious about marine life, travelling with someone who already dives, or simply looking for a different experience this trip, there are three ways to take your first breath underwater.
3 ways to try scuba diving
BASIC DIVER
Time required: Half day
Minimum age: 10 years old
Who is it for: Anyone who wants a real dive on the reef and a starter certification, without committing to a full course.
A safety briefing, some practice in the pool, then a real dive on our house reef with an instructor by your side. By the end of the day you’ll be certified as an SSI Basic Diver, able to dive again to a maximum of 12 metres, always with an SSI professional.
SCUBA DIVER
Time required: 2 days
Minimum age: 10 years old
Who is it for: Divers who want to go further than Basic Diver but don’t have time for the full Open Water course.
A few training dives that take you halfway through the full Open Water Diver course, with real skills and more time underwater. You’ll dive to a maximum of 12 metres, always with an SSI professional, a great option on its own, or a solid step toward completing your Open Water certification later on.
OPEN WATER DIVER
Time required: 3 days
Minimum age: 10 years old
Who is it for: Travellers ready to spend a few days becoming a fully certified, independent diver.
Training dives and real skills over a few days, building up to the SSI Open Water Diver certification, recognised worldwide. It takes you down to 18 metres and, once certified, makes you an independent diver, free to dive with any certified buddy, anywhere in the world, without needing an instructor by your side.
