INTRODUCTION
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox specialty is one of the most practical certifications any diver can add to their log. By diving with an enriched air mixture of up to 40% oxygen, your body absorbs less nitrogen than when diving with standard air — giving you longer bottom times, shorter surface intervals and greater safety margins on every dive. The course is theory only, with no dives required, and can be completed in half a day at Camel before heading out on the water. A straightforward upgrade that makes an immediate difference to the way you dive.
