SPORT DIVER AWARDS 2016 - MAKE YOUR CHOICE!
Have you enjoyed diving with us? Let other divers know your opinion, by casting your vote in the prestigious Sport Diver Awards 2016 and get a chance to win a luxury holiday to Wakatobi. Last year Camel came third in the category “Best EMEA PADI Dive Centre“, our instructor Beth was runner up in the category “Best PADI Instructor” and Egypt was rated “Best Diving Destination Worldwide”. We would be extremely happy to confirm last year achievements and to do even better this year. That would show divers from all over the world that the Red Sea is more than alive and that our commitment for top quality and safe diving is stronger than ever! To achieve this, we NEED YOUR HELP NOW, as voting closes on October 1st 2016 at midnight. Finalists and the competition winners will be notified by October 10th 2016. Each vote is valuable for us, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
CAMEL’S INPUT IN EGYPTIAN ACCESSIBLE TOURISM
At Camel we have been empowering divers with disabilities to find freedom through scuba diving since 1986. This year we had the amazing opportunity to showcase our experience within accessible tourism in Egypt and both our Camel Hotel and dive centre won the 1st Accessible Tourism Competition organised by the International Labour Organization. Being the first accessible dive centre and hotel divers in Egypt, we recently had also the honour to participate in the Conference “CAIRO 2016 A CITY FOR ALL” organised by NGO Helm to discuss Egypt's plan for increasing accessibility awareness in our country. Our Sales & Marketing Manager, Ornella Ditel, represented Camel during the conference, and shared with a very attentive public our unique experience in providing accessible features in hospitality, along with worldwide experts and media representatives. We truly hope that these and more similar activities will inspire other businesses in joining us in making a difference within the Egyptian hospitality and leisure sector, for everyone’s benefit!
