We are Dive Centre of the Year 2013 award winners!
For those who may have missed the news: Camel Dive Club is worldwide Dive Centre of the Year 2013! We were absolutely thrilled to scoop the industry’s top award at a special ceremony organized by DIVER magazine at the London Dive Show last month, where Clare and Cath collected our coveted bronze diver statuette from diving TV presenter Monty Halls. A huge thank you to everyone who believed in us and voted for us. We couldn’t have done it without you! Check out our Diver Awards Party photo album on our Facebook page, to see how we celebrated at Camel Bar!
London International Dive Show – great to meet you!
We loved meeting you all at LIDS last month, during a memorable weekend dedicated to all things diving. Into two short days were packed top speakers, photo workshops, plenty of catch up time with Camel divers old and new – and of course – winning the coveted best Dive Centre of the Year worldwide award (see above)! We’re pleased to announce the winners of our famous raffle sponsored by Mares – just add water, who were Martin Leigh (diving at Camel for two people), Julie Winton (Mares Puck Wrist Pro diving computer), and Chris Palmer (Mares Instinct 12 regulator). The next big date for our diary is DIVE Birmingham, 25-26 October 2014: we’re looking forward already!

PHOTOS: diving with us in Naama Bay
What better place to learn diving than right here on our doorstep, in Naama Bay? Our latest gallery by Adolfo Maciocco shows off the underwater delights awaiting trainee divers during their course dives. The amazing diversity of marine life in Naama Bay, just a few steps away from our diving centre, can surprise even our most experienced Instructors. The downside? It can sometimes be difficult to keep students concentrating on performing their course skills as an enormous green turtle glides past, or the resident giant grouper puts in an appearance! Do you have a friend or family member interested in becoming a diver? Be sure to contact us!
