Covering the five topics that govern everything we do as responsible divers will help you to develop a complete understanding of the underwater environment and how it affects the human body. The SSI Science of Diving specialty is a must if you want to learn the science behind scuba diving.

This specialty is a prerequisite training requirement for many of our SSI Professional programs.

With Enriched Air / Nitrox you can dive more safely and for longer (subject to certain limits, of course), since your body absorbs less nitrogen than when diving with air. Enriched Air/Nitrox also allows for shorter surface intervals between two subsequent dives.
