Technical Diving in Dahab
Only one hour from Sharm El Sheikh through the rugged Sinai landscape, Dahab offers a different dive experience. Originally a Bedouin settlement, the palm-fringed town is also famous for its laid-back atmosphere. Dahab's most famous dive sites are the Blue Hole and the Canyon. Both offer impressive topography, and easy entry and exit by shore. A day-trip from Sharm offers an easy way to tec dive at one of these sites. The excursion to Dahab includes return transport, 1 guided technical dive and a relaxed lunch including soft drinks.

The Blue Hole
 The Blue Hole is a huge circular opening on the reef plate, 150m wide and 120m deep on the inside. It is one of only 3 'blue holes' in the world. At 50m depth, the Arch is a 26m-long tunnel that connects the inside of the Blue Hole to the open sea. The Arch may be dived as an extended range or trimix dive. Glide under the tunnel's soft coral ceiling and emerge into the open sea. The Blue Hole is a perfect place for a long decompression stop as there is little current or overhead boat traffic.The Canyon
 The Canyon is a natural crack in the reef plateau, which descends to 54m. The Canyon's walls are 15-20m high. Descend from the entrance admiring the rugged walls and the fascinating light effects. In shallower areas along the reef there is the possibility to see the rare Red Sea walkman, sea moths and garden eels. This dive is conducted either as an extended range or trimix dive.How to book
Trips to Dahab are scheduled normally at least once a week, on request. We require a minimum of 6 people to run the trip. You may sign up at the dive centre on your first day, or ask your dive guide. Alternatively, contact us on technical @ cameldive.com (remove spaces) for more information.
