PADI Specialties at Camel Dive Club
 PADI Specialty courses allow you to deepen your knowledge and experience in specific areas of diving. By completing a specialty course you demonstrate your expertise in each field. After completing your
PADI Rescue Diver course and 5 PADI Specialties you may apply to become a PADI Master Scuba Diver, the highest non-professional certification. Also you may credit dives you completed during a
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course or a PADI Adventure Diver course towards the corresponding speciality.

Specialties require two, three or four dives and
are charged at a rate of €55.00 per dive
(with the exception of wreck, enriched air and
photography).
Deep Diver Specialty
 Learn how to plan and run deep dives safely. This course covers special equipment considerations, avoiding nitrogen narcosis, preventing decompression sickness and handling potential problems correctly. This is a very useful specialty course for everyone seeking to go deeper or seeking to become a technical diver. The Deep Diver Specialty course is the ideal preparation for diving wrecks like the
SS Thistlegorm. You may be asked for a PADI Deep Diver Specialty certification in order to dive at some sites around the world.
Night Diver Specialty
 See the reef in a different light. As an introduction to underwater nightlife, the Night Diver Specialty course covers techniques for communication and navigation in limited visibility. You will learn about special procedures and equipment necessary for planning and running night dives. The Night Diver Specialty course will give you confidence in diving in the dark.
Drift Diver Specialty
 Some of the best dives in the Red Sea are drift dives. Drift dives require slightly different procedures from diving from a moored boat. A Drift Diver Specialty course will give you a greater comprehension of these procedures and an understanding of how to plan a drift dive. Knowing to handle currents, tides and weather will help you plan your dives more effectively.
Underwater Naturalist Specialty
 This is one of the most popular courses among our instructors. It opens your eyes to the amazing flora and fauna of the Red Sea. You will learn about the marine ecosystem, the life cycle of the coral reef and discover relationships between different underwater creatures that you never knew existed. The Underwater Naturalist Specialty will give you a new perspective on diving and increase your appreciation of the underwater environment.Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty
Ever wondered how your guide is able to hover motionless over the reef? In the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course, you will learn to how to weight yourself precisely for optimum control, poise and balance. You learn to ascend and descend effortlessly, master streamlining and moving through the water cleanly, efficiently and gracefully. As you usually dive near fragile underwater environments it is very important to avoid harm to them or yourself.
Enriched
Air/Nitrox Diver Specialty
 With Enriched Air/Nitrox you can dive more safely and for longer (subject to certain limits, of course!), since your body absorbs less nitrogen than when diving with air. Enriched Air/Nitrox also allows for shorter surface intervals between two subsequent dives. The Enriched Air/Nitrox Diver course takes 1 day, and can be done during a diving day on the dive boat. Nitrox dives are an optional extra (a supplement applies). You will learn how to plan and conduct Enriched Air/Nitrox dives, analyze the oxygen content of your tank, complete a fill log and how to rent nitrox tanks properly in the future. Your Specialty certification allows you to dive with Enriched Air/Nitrox worldwide. Minimum age 15 years.

 This course enables you to get the most out of your unique underwater pictures. With the Digital Underwater Photography Specialty course you will learn how to take full advantage of digital technology to capture perfectly the underwater world with your camera and computer. This course takes 1 day, with two dives applying practical skills. You will learn about cameras and housings, underwater photography techniques and making the most out of your pictures on a computer. This Specialty is also open to snorkellers. If you prefer to take pictures with a non-digital camera then join the traditional Underwater Photography course.Referrals
