A seven night stay at 4* Camel Hotel with breakfast including three days guided diving costs just 296 Euro per person sharing. Are you staying in another hotel? Book your dive pack (three days for 132 Euro, five days for 210 Euro) and we'll include free transfers and nitrox (for certified nitrox divers) for you and your buddies. Travelling from the UK? Now you can also buy your stay at Camel Hotel as a package with flights via our new partnership with Co-operativeTravel.co.uk. Then to book your diving. Or for hassle-free booking check our partners Scuba Travel for great deals on your complete holiday at Camel Hotel including flights and diving.
Is it Camel? Or is it Hollywood?
During the last few weeks Camel has resembled a Hollywood-like scenario! We were lucky enough to be chosen by Mares as a base for filming their latest fantastic equipment innovations prior their launch in the market! Mares’ film crew spent a week diving with us on Camel Tribe and taking beautiful footage of diving models with the colorful background of Sharm’s reef life. As if that wasn’t enough, we are also filming our own promo video! Have a look at some backstage shots of our guests and staff who became actors for a week of hard work and good laughs! Stay tuned for the release of Camel video!
Camel hosts PADI IE
We are proud to have started a new tradition at Camel. For the second time in a row, PADI chose our facilities to host the first day of the final exam (IE) of the Instructor Development Course, which five times a year sees candidates from all over the world to meet the challenge of becoming PADI instructors. As usual, our resident Course Director Bianca Greiner and her students (Olivia, Sian, Max and Ben) scored 100% and led the celebrations at Camel Bar, offering an excellent funnel performance too! Watch the photos of the candidates in action and virtually celebrate with them!
Bring on summer sightings with Camel
Sea temperature is rising, summer is approaching and sightings are increasing! Don’t believe it? Then check our Facebook page where our guests and staff regularly post news, photos and videos about fantastic sightings and special encounters. A few examples: five dolphins swam past Deniz and her group at Yolanda Reef in Ras Mohamed National Park, manta rays have been spotted in various local coral gardens including the house reef at our centre in Sharks Bay, the resident white tip shark in Gordon Reef is less shy than usual and -last but not least- our photographer Cinzia was lucky enough to take photos of a beautiful leopard shark! Are you craving more underwater shots? Don’t miss our weekly appointment with Fish of the Week on Facebook, with photos of award winning Adolfo Maciocco or check out our photogalleries on Flickr and on our website!
Love Sports, Love Camel Bar
The countdown has started for the FIFA World Cup this June-July, and Camel Bar is preparing to welcome hundreds of supporters from all over the world! The big HD screens will be showing all matches, so our diving and non-diving guests can come on holiday with the peace of mind that they can merge their two passions, under the same roof! Stay tuned and check Camel Bar’s schedule to be sure of not missing a match when in Sharm. Our regular visitors know that there’s more than football at Came Bar! Rugby is surely another of our guests’ top favourites and lately we’ve been flattered to host Sale Sharks’ Michael Paterson (Aviva Championship; former All Blacks player under 21), who took a short break to plunge in our beautiful Red Sea. Michael generously donated his autographed official t-shirt which we now proudly display on Camel Bar’s wall. Don’t forget to check it out next time you visit the Bar.
