Dive Against Debris with us this September
Help us to ensure our Red Sea reefs remain immaculately clean! As part of Project AWARE’s worldwide initiative ‘Debris Month of Action’, every Tuesday during September we’re inviting all our guests to make a reef clean-up dive, to collect any debris they may spot underwater. Afterwards, everyone who participates is invited for a free drink at our Divers Night in Camel Bar. We’ll report to Project AWARE any debris we collect, to assist with global reef monitoring efforts.
European Shark Week runs from 15-23 October and here at Camel we’re getting ready to celebrate it! This summer our divers had tens of encounters with these wonderful creatures and many of our guests have supported the conservation efforts of the Shark Trust by buying the Hammerhead design Camel Tribe T-shirt (pictured here). The 100% Egyptian cotton t-shirt is designed by Dan Lish, one of Playstation's Guitar Hero and DJ Hero’s designers. It is available in red, white, khaki or black and we donate 10% from each one sold to the Trust. Please if you’d like to wear one. Visit our website and follow us on Facebook for updates about Shark Week events.

Twenty-five years ago, in Sharm El Sheikh…
This year we celebrate our twenty-fifth birthday! Sharm el Sheikh, and Camel have changed enormously over the last 25 years, but our philosophy is still the same: top-quality facilities, friendly dive guides, and fantastic diving. The idea for Camel Dive Club began when its founder visited Naama Bay with friends in the early 1980s. Inspired by the lifestyle of Sinai's diving pioneers, the project culminated with the opening of Camel Dive Club, in 1986. Are you ready to see how Camel looked like in the early days? Check out our photogallery on Flickr, on our website or on Facebook . You’ll be amazed!
