Manta Reisen Winners Enjoy Holiday at Camel Dive Club

Dive Club and Swiss Tour Operator Manta Reisen
offered a competition for readers of the Manta
holiday newsletter. The winners, Stefan and Anna
Nipp from Spreitenbach near Zurich, Switzerland,
won a weeks diving holiday at Camel Dive Club
& Hotel in April 2007.
"We were very impressed with the level of professionalism
at Camel Dive Club. The guides were extremely
helpful and knowledgeable, maintaining safety
throughout. The boats were clean and comfortable
and it was a pleasure to dive from them.
We found the hotel to be very relaxed and conveniently
located with friendly staff. Camel's restaurants
were excellent and the Roof provided the perfect
atmosphere to relax and unwind after our days
diving."
Anna and Stefan visited the Dunraven Wreck and
particularly enjoyed their diving in the Ras Mohammed
National Park. "It was very exciting being so
close to large sea turtles and moray eels. We
will take home some great diving memories but
hope to return soon to the Red Sea."

Platinum" IDC at Camel Dive Club
  We
now have a new Course Director, Martin Baker,
who has worked in Sharm for 7 years. He joins
Paul Toomer, Camel's UK based Course Director
(CD), to run "Double Platinum" Instructor Development
Courses (IDCs) and Instructor specialties. Martin
and Paul are both Platinum CDs, which means they
have certified over 100 Instructor level certifications
in the last year. Worldwide, there are less than
100 Platinum Course Directors.
James Morgan, Vice President Training and Customer
Service PADI Americas, based at the PADI Headquarters
in Los Angeles, comments that "given the small
number of Course Directors that achieve Platinum
status, Camel would be an elite company by having
two Platinum Course Directors that are also DSAT
Tec Trimix Instructor Trainers."
We would like to take this opportunity to thank
Martin's predecessor Marco Giovannini for all
his hard work at Camel and wish him all the best
in his future career. The next IDC starts on June
18th and now includes free Master Scuba Diver
Trainer (MSDT) upgrade. PADI IDC at CamelHoliday Specials at Camel now start on 5 May
