Sharm El Sheikh Is The World’s Leading Dive Destination
The Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh has been labeled World’s Leading Dive Destination at the 14th World Travel Awards. The annual ceremony was held on the Turks and Caicos islands on the 12th of December. Some 167.000 tourism professionals in over 190 countries voted for the awards which have been described by the Wall Street Journal as “the travel industry’s equivalent of the Oscars”. The event is highly regarded and well-established as a forum that brings together all areas of travel and tourism in recognition of their achievements.
Camel Dive Club & Hotel Ranked Top 10 Worldwide
Camel Dive Club & Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt has been named as one of the Top 10 Diving Hotels Worldwide 2007 by “The Guide to the Good Life”, Gayot.com. Camel is the only hotel in the Red Sea to have received this accolade. Travel guide publisher Gayot, who became famous for promoting the “Nouvelle Cuisine” in the early 70s, is listing its top 10 diving hotels for the third year.
