On 23rd September we began a collaboration with St. Joseph’s International School in Hadaba, a residential area of Sharm el Sheikh. The aim of the project is to educate local children about the Red Sea, extending environmental understanding beyond the diving community. Over twenty-five students aged 12–18 attended the one hour session. Instructor Steve McCusker started with a discussion about the world’s oceans and seas, including a quiz to test student’s knowledge. The class included a question and answer session about how St Joseph’s could contribute to protecting the marine environment.News in October 2008
