Our IDC programme draws on the language capabilities of our two Course Directors, Teo Brambilla of XChallenge, and Bianca Greiner, Camel’s Training Manager. Bianca commented, “Especially if they have language skills, candidates on Camel’s IDC have a good chance of working with us afterwards, if they perform well during the course”. Shark myths: predator, monster, man-eater?

Shark myths: predator, monster, man-eater?Andreas Bode, volunteer ambassador with Sharkproject International, presented to Camel staff and guests gathered in Camel Bar on Friday 27th February. Sharkproject, a non-profit organisation, lobbies worldwide for the protection of sharks and the marine environment. Andreas’s presentation aimed to dispel some of the myths around sharks. Of 490 species of shark, at least 20 species face a threat of extinction. Yet only 12 species are dangerous to humans: we are much more likely to eat sharks than they are to eat us. Andreas presented to a packed house. Thanks to Monika Richter for the picture. More about Camel Eco Tribe conservation initiatives.
