Diving in Dahab
Dahab is one hour drive north along the coast from Sharm el Sheikh. Originally a Bedouin settlement, the palm-fringed town is famous for its laid-back atmosphere and offers dive sites which are completely different from those in the Sharm area.
A day-trip from Sharm offers an easy way to dive at Dahab's most famous sites, the Canyon and the Blue Hole. These are both shore dives with very unusual topography. They are also home to fish that are rarely seen around Sharm, like the Red Sea Walkman.
The excursion to Dahab includes return transport, two guided dives, and a relaxed lunch with water/soft drinks. Dahab excursions are organised on request, with a minimum of six divers. If you would like to visit Dahab, we recommend signing up at our dive centre soon after arrival. We will then advise you of the next available trip. For shore access to the dive sites, we recommend using open-heel fins with boots. These may be hired from the diving centre if required.
How to book
Trips to Dahab are normally scheduled at least once per week. We require a minimum of six people to run the trip. We recommend you sign up for diving in Dahab at the dive centre on your first day, or ask your dive guide, so we can inform you of the next available trip.
