For all hotels south of Na'ama Bay (including Ras Umm Sid and Hadaba), you will use our dive centre at Royal Grand Sharm.
We provide complimentary transfers between all hotels in the area, and our dive centre. Our centre lies directly on the beach, at the water's edge.
Five-star Royal Grand Sharm Resort is a popular hotel for divers, especially those with families. This peaceful beachfront resort has 292 rooms, including 8 suites. All rooms have a private balcony or terrace with sea view. There are five restaurants from which to choose.
Diving and snorkelling by boat
Join our boat diving and snorkelling trips to all dive sites including the Straits of Tiran, Ras Mohammed National Park, and local sites. Boats depart from Na'ama Bay jetty only fifteen minutes away. Excursions to SS Thistlegorm wreck, night dives and other special trips are available on request.
Diving and snorkelling at the house reef
Royal Grand Sharm offers two interesting house reefs, Paradise and Turtle Bay which are ideal for diving and snorkelling. The impressive pinnacles at Paradise reef are covered with gorgonian fan corals. Snorkelling, try-dives, PADI courses and guided dives are available. Two specially designed floating platforms provide safe, easy access over the reef and snorkelling equipment may be hired from our centre on the beach.
PADI courses
We teach a full range of PADI learn-to-dive and other diving courses. Confined water dives may be made in the resorts' swimming pools and an air-conditioned training room is available. Open water training dives are normally made by boat.

Royal Grand Sharm Resort is located in the Hadaba area close to Ras Umm Sid. It is approximately fifteen minutes drive south of Na’ama Bay.
