PADI Tec Gas Blender
More people are diving with Enriched Air/Nitrox. This means that demand for Enriched Air/Nitrox fills is increasing, and more people who are qualified to administer these fills are needed. The PADI Gas Blender course trains you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified divers. It may result in one of two certifications: PADI Gas Blender or PADI Trimix Blender.
During the course, you learn
- the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary
- the five methods of obtaining the desired Enriched Air/Nitrox mix
- the methods used to obtain proper helium mixes
