DSAT Discover Tec Diver

We recommend this course as a technical diving ‘taster’. You will use technical equipment such as twin tanks, and basic technical diving procedures. The DSAT Discover Tec Diver course is a non-certification course. It may be credited towards DSAT Tec Diver Level One or DSAT Tec Deep Diver course.

DSAT Tec Basics

The DSAT Tec Basics is a comprehensive introduction to technical diving. Over 2 days, you will learn basic technical diving procedures, and assemble and try technical equipment. The DSAT Tec Basics course is a certification course that can be credited towards DSAT Tec Deep Diver course and the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.

DSAT Tec Diver Level One

With this DSAT Tec certification you may use Enriched Air/Nitrox up to 60% to make extended no-decompression dives up to 40m, using full tec equipment. You will learn about new techniques and equipment, gas mixes and nitrogen elimination. This course is a comprehensive introduction to the world of technical diving. This course may be credited towards the DSAT Tec Deep Diver certification.

DSAT Tec Deep Diver

As a DSAT Tec Deep Diver you may dive up to 50m on air. The course is designed for experienced recreational divers who wish to go beyond recreational depth limits. It teaches the skills of staged decompression using multiple gas blends. After the course you will know how to conduct deep dives safely, within this depth range.

DSAT Tec Trimix Diver

For the dedicated technical diver who wants to go deeper than 50m, the gas of choice is trimix. This mix of nitrogen, oxygen and helium extends the technical diver’s depth range capabilities. In the extensive DSAT Tec Trimix course you learn how to use open circuit scuba with trimix blends. You will calculate equivalent narcotic depth, best gases for each dive, and expand your knowledge of decompression theory.

DSAT Gas Blender

Are you interested in more than just analysing a gas? The DSAT Gas Blender course demonstrates how dive centres mix gases. You will learn about different blending methods, oxygen cleaning and potential hazards. The course covers blending Enriched Air/Nitrox and the application of blending tables, software and gas laws.
